2. A word derived from the combination of “persona” and “tabula rasa”

The Rasona

is a highly customizable VRChat model optimized as a fallback for both the PC branch and Oculus/Meta Quest branch of VRChat. It has a performance rating of Excellent on both Quest and PC.

The tech specs of it are as follows;

In action it typically uses about 2.85mb of VRAM, but this will likely depend on the texture used. If VRAM exceeds a margin of 3mb, please ensure that you are using a resolution of 2k, as I've noticed 4k textures bump VRAM usage to 10mb, which removes the "Excellent" status on Quest.

You will need to have VRCFury installed for this model to upload correctly as it takes advantage of the Parameter Compressor function.

Features;

The Rasona has a vast variety of shape keys that can be used for customization. These include but aren’t limited to;

• Face shape adjustments from different muzzle shapes to even minute details such as iris shape and size
• Two different ear styles
• Body shape and weight
• Four different hairstyles that can be layered for different looks
• A coat, sweater, pants, and shoes that each have different cropping and customization options. For instance, you can turn the jacket into a cropped vest, or the sweater into a long dress!

Terms of Service

Commercial Use Guidelines

Under absolutely no circumstances may you distribute assets from this product including but not limited to, the Rasona fbx files, the Unity package, the Substance Painter files, and the Photoshop conversion.

If you distribute accessories for the Rasona, you may not include any of these files in your distribution. All mesh and texture data distributed must be original assets.

All commercial use must be credited back to me.

You may not use this model in renders to sell on shirts, prints, or other merch without contacting me first.

You may accept texture commissions using this avatar only if the commissioner purchased the model. If there is a circumstance in which you do not own the model and the commissioner does, they may send the Photoshop files, but may not send the Unity package, Substance Painter files, or fbx files.

You may use this model for Vtubing, Streaming, and on other platforms. Credit in your description would be nice! No need to watermark anything, however.

You may use this in animations, renders, and other digital art pieces so long as credit is given.

You may keep these animations, renders, and other digital art pieces behind a Patreon or other paywall.

You may use this model in adult content.

Personal Use Guidelines

Under absolutely no circumstances may you distribute assets from this product including but not limited to, the Rasona fbx files, the Unity package, the Substance Painter files, and the Photoshop conversion.

You are not allowed to sell, publicly distribute, or upload the Rasona to services such as VRCMods.

The only circumstance in which you may distribute the Rasona as an edited asset is in a private setting in which you have verified that the other party has purchased the Rasona. If you fail to verify this it is in direct violation of TOS.

You may upload public versions of this avatar to VRChat.

You may make any edits you like so long as you do not distribute the assets; unless you are following the guidelines outlined above.

You may not upload private VRChat avatars for other users who have not purchased the Rasona. (Example, if you make a cool avatar that uses the Rasona as a base, and someone says "wow that's a cool model can I have it too?" and they HAVE NOT purchased the Rasona, you may not upload the avatar to their account. However, if this person has purchased it, then you may upload to their account for them.)
